But Brit viewers were gatvol at the voting for the final show on Saturday.
Blessing, who is originally from Zimbabwe, sang Robbie Williams’ Angels and James Bay’s Hold Back The River in the final.
After the announcement, Blessing said she is “so happy to have sung on this stage”.
But online viewers were die moer in when they found out they were not allowed to vote, leaving it up to the judges.
One viewer reportedly said: “final isn’t live? We can’t vote? Oh. That sucks”, while another said: “Why can’t we vote obviously not live then.”
Popular Cape Town songbird Belinda Davids, 43, was also a contender after wowing the judges at the auditions by singing One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston.
The headline performer in a tribute show to Whitney, she returned to the stage of the British competition in the semi-finals.
But while the judges praised her rendition of Whitney’s I Have Nothing as “electric”, “magnificent” and “spellbinding”, Belinda got voted off in the semi-finals.
Judge Ashley Banjo told Belinda “it’s time for you to step away from Whitney and show us you”.
