Cardi B has defended her pal Kylie Jenner, who was labelled a “culture vulture” after making a surprise cameo in her new music video.
Fans questioned the make-up mogul’s role in the provocative WAP music video featuring rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
One Twitter user said: “If that’s not a perfect visual indication of black women having to do the most and white women do the bare minimum to get somewhere, I don’t know what is.”
Shortly after the music video premiered last week, fans expressed their dissatisfaction with Kylie’s appearance.
On Friday, kwaad mense even launched a petition to have Kylie removed from the music video.
One said: “I was happily enjoying my daily cup of brown women until that culture stealing coloniser showed up and made me spill. Thank you.”
I wanna say thank you to every woman that was apart of my video! The fact that you made time in your schedules means alot to me! It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential.

Another wrote: “She is a culture vulture who doesn’t remember how her own complexion looks! down with the culture vultures!”
This prompted the Bodak Yellow star to defend Kylie, who celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday, on Twitter.
“Why did I put Kylie on my music video? She treated my sister [Hennessy] and daughter [Kulture] so lovely at her kid [Stormi’s] bday party,” wrote the 27-year-old rapper in a since deleted tweet.
Cardi’s tweet was in reply to one fan who was bothered by the fact that Kylie “walked down the hall and opened a door” in the video while singer Normani performed a dance routine.
In another two tweets - also deleted by Cardi - the Money hitmaker said Normani is ‘the best female artist that dances.’
She said: “Like she dances her f**kin a*s off! Why would she open a door? Please tell me how that would make sense?”
She also shut down claims on racial bias: “Not everything is about race.
“There’s issues out here in the world that it is about race that I preach all the time about. This is not about f***in race.”
