NEW TUNE: Kuila rapper Cream Machine with Early B and Justin Vega

Kuils River rapper Cream Machine is telling mense to stop being held back by obstacles weighing you down and just Doen Jou Ding.

This is the title of Marvin van Wyk’s newly released track, a collaboration with Early B and Justin Vega.

The Afrikaans hip hop star made his first EP with former rap group Rapbels, which was recorded and produced by late hip hop producer Panaikz of Rockfyre Productions.

He also started a group called Bruinstormaz, with his friend Bitter, and developed a following across the country.

He was also one of the founding members of Project Break Free, a community initiative that focused on capacity building and life skills among at-risk youth.

He started the project with Bboy Ice, who is considered the father of Bboying in Kuils River.

Cream, 30, describes his latest single: “The idea behind the song Doen Jou Ding, is to motivate people to pursue their passion and follow their dreams despite the obstacles they face.”

Cream says it’s always been his desire to collab with rapper Early B.

“I always respected Earl as an artist. That respect actually grew in this period while working with him on this project because he is just genuinely a great, humble human being.

“He took our Afrikaans hip hop genre to the next level in recent years after years of hard work and dedication to the art form.”

Early B says: “It was a pleasure to do this song with Cream, he was one of the guys I looked up to when I started in the industry.

“Cream approached me with the offer to be part and Justin Vega added the beat.”

Cream released his song on YouTube on 29 October and it has already been viewed over 31 000 times.
