Meet the SABC’s newest face.
A single mom from Steenberg has won the public broadcaster’s Presenter Search Expresso Edition.
Jaime-Lee Domburg was ecstatic when she along with Port Elizabeth beauty, Kuhle Adams, was named as the winners of the hotly contested competition.
Jaime, 26, and Kuhle, 23, both start their jobs as Expresso Morning presenters on Monday.
For their final and deciding challenge, the four finalists each had to conduct an interview with a high-profile guest in the Expresso studio.

They had a day to prepare and research their subject, and then it was showtime, live in front of judges Thando Thabethe, Dr Musa Mthombeni and Roger Goode.
Jamie-Lee’s bubbly interview with muso Angu Makubalo and Kuhle’s warm and personable chat with Miss SA clinched the deal for them, and the judges were unanimous in their final decision.
Jaime has a 10-month-old baby boy named Luca and before entering the Presenter Search, was a full-time mom also juggling a modelling career.
“I enjoy time with my son and now joining the show, I’ll have to wake up at 3.30am every morning to prepare for the breakfast show.

“I think my mom needs to take over now full time to help me with Luca.”
Jamie’s mom Patricia, 59, is a part-time night nurse, and just like Jamie-Lee, she is a single parent raising her only child.
“I’m so proud of Jamie, she was always a busy child and loved the attention and showing off her dance moves,” she says.
“Jamie took part in nearly everything and loved ballet and hip hop dancing.”
Jaime attended Steenberg High and proud residents took to social media to congratulate her.
“All the hype has soaked in, I’m trying to respond to all the messages from people and it feels so amazing, I’m so proud to represent the 7945 (Steenberg’s postal code).
“This is not television - this is dreams come true!”
