Miss Teenager South Africa has officially embarked on its search for an impeccable young lady to take the title and become an ambassador for teenagers across South Africa as they are crowned Miss Teenager 2021/2022.
The journey for the search for Miss Teenager started in August with online entries opening through the Miss Teen SA website; entries are still open.
This process will then culminate into a prestigious finalist ceremony in Johannesburg at Emperors palace in May 2022.
The reigning Miss Teenager SA, Kayleigh Jephta, 19, from Bloubergstrand, encourages teens to enter.
“This platform allows me to learn from amazing people and grow in many different ways. Throughout my journey, I’ve gained so much confidence as I continue doing things that allow me to step out of my comfort zone.
“After winning the competition, I’ve realised that I am able and capable to do anything I put my mind to and work hard towards.
“Not only has winning made me more motivated to accomplish many other things, it’s an accomplishment that has allowed me to inspire and be proof to any young person out there that without taking a leap of faith you’ll never know what the outcome could’ve been.”
The pageant caters for teens aged 13-19-years- old.
A spokesperson for Miss Teenager South Africa, Bongani Ncala said they are excited about the program prepared for the road to Miss Teenager 2022.
“We will soon be announcing various activities for our contestants and finalists which will be lined up for the coming months leading up to the finale ceremony in May next year. We have revitalised the program and are elated with this year’s rollout which will culminate into the biggest Miss Teenager South Africa to date.”
