NEWLYWEDS: Musa Mthombeni and Liesl Laurie
Former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie and fiancé Musa Mthombeni recently got married in a traditional wedding ceremony.
According to SowetanLive, the newlyweds tied the knot in an intimate troue at Musa’s house in Three Rivers, near Vereeniging.
The stunning model, 30, wore a striking red dress and a headpiece before switching into a traditional patterned dress which was paired with a doekie.
Musa, 31, shared their special day on Instagram and captioned the picture of him and his wife, saying: “Went home for the weekend ... it’s a smallayana thing for the weekend. Isssaaa wedding day.”
Liesl also shared a few photos, with the accompanying caption: “Let’s have ourselves a little wedding,” and another “uMakoti wakwa Mthombeni”.
The pair had announced their engagement to their social media followers on 27 June.
