Lee’s apology to ‘jolmeit’

Lee-Ann Liebenberg has done a U-turn and apologised to the woman she accused of having an affair with her husband Nicky van der Walt.
The couple made headlines this week after the top South African model took to Instagram to say she and the businessman were calling it quits on their 10-year marriage.
In a string of now-deleted Instagram posts on her Instagram Stories, Lee-Ann, 38, said: “It is with great sadness that Nicky and I have made the decision to part ways after 10 years of marriage.”
This after she dropped a bombshell last Friday when she told her 112 000 followers: “I have not been hacked… Emily_Kark you can have him.”
All traces of the mystery woman on social media have vanished.
Nicky later took to Instagram to blame her wife’s behaviour on post-partum depression, following the birth of their third child in March.
“In response to my wife’s post. I love her and my children dearly and with all my heart. We are not getting a divorce,” he wrote.
He added: “Lee is suffering from deep PPD (post-partum depression). All I can do is try to be there for her for the best of my family, whom I love and respect with my whole being.
“I ask everyone please to give us space to work through this and respect our family and pray for her to get better so we can put it behind us and focus on our beautiful children. Lee-Ann, I love you with all my heart.”
On Monday, Lee-Ann took to social media to apologise to the woman: “I retract and apologise for the allegations I made on 2 July 2021 on my Instagram page.”
