UPROAR: Adele's bantu knots in pic
People love to rek their bekke about Adele’s appearance.
If they’re not commenting on the British singer’s 40kg weight loss, then they’ll find something else to be judgerag about.
This week, the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker was slammed for “cultural appropriation” after wearing a Jamaican flag string bikini top to mark the cancelled Notting Hill Carnival.
In a picture shared on Instagram, the 32-year-old star poses in the garden of her Beverly Hills home, wearing her hair in “Bantu knots”.
The divorced mother of one captioned the post: “Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London.”

The carnival - an annual celebration of Caribbean culture - went online this year due to Covid-19.
Now some social media users are accusing Adele of profiting from black culture.
Authur Frederick Joseph tweeted: “Black people have been through enough in 2020.”

Kenisha went overboard, saying: “If you haven’t quite understood cultural appropriation, look at Adele’s last Instagram post. She should go to jail no parole for this.(sic)”
However, other fans came to her defence, asking why non-Jamaicans are going bos when real Jamaicans are min gespin.
Max West posted: “Crazy... I have Jamaican family and I don’t care if anyone wears a bikini like this with the flag or wants to do some hairstyle - it literally doesn’t affect anyone.”
Lydia posted: “Black Americans are trying to cancel someone for cultural appropriation on Caribbean people’s behalf again.”
