Wonder Woman has outed a Justice League director for bullying and making threats.
Israeli actress Gal Gadot previously said her “experience” with director Joss Whedon “wasn’t the best one”.
Whedon stepped in to film and reshoot Justice League when Zach Snyder pulled out to attend to a tragedy.
Expanding on working with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator, Gaul, 36, told a TV channel: “What I had with Joss, basically, is that he kind of threatened my career and told me that if I did something, he would ensure that my career would be miserable. And I simply handled it on the spot.”
While his ex-wife, Kai Cole, accused him of being a “hypocrite preaching feminist ideals”, stars who have worked with him say he was known to abuse his power.
Taking a stand for survivors of abuse, Buffy lead Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote on Instagram that she “[doesn’t] want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon”.
undefinedAmber Benson, who played Tara Maclay on Buffy, tweeted: “Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top.”
Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top. @AllCharisma is speaking truth and I support her 100%. There was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later. #IStandWithRayFisher #IStandWithCharismaCarpenter https://t.co/WJAmDGm76C

WarnerMedia said it has taken remedial action, while a rep for the filmmaker said Whedon would not be commenting.
