Singing sensations and besties Paxton Fielies and Craig Lucas say they cannot wait to get back on the stage and this weekend will perform in their first gig of 2021.
The two are part of the line-up of Cape Talk’s Moonstruck, which is a virtual affair this year.
Also joining them will be Black Ties and Dr Victor and The Rasta Rebels.
Craig says: “I am very excited, it’s always incredible to share the stage with Paxton.
“People can expect a little bit of an emotional throwback to some of their favourite songs. We’re going to be in our feelings.”
CapeTalk Station Manager Tessa van Staden said: “Traditionally, it’s the time when families connect over a picnic meal and great music.
“That hasn't changed, the event still pays homage to everyone's favourite hits from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s... the songs everyone in the family can sing along to.
“The only change is that this year the concert is online for everyone to watch from their garden or lounge.”
Craig says he has been cooking up some new music during lockdown.
“I’ve recorded enough material for my second album so now we’re just planning the best way to release given the current music climate.”
Paxton says she’s been focusing on shaping her unique sound and also creating new music.
The show is free of charge and all you have to do is register on CapeTalk’s website to experience some great music on Saturday, 27 February from 7pm.
