He may be an action hero, but not even Hollywood star Bruce Willis can walk around in a store without wearing a face mask.
The Die Hard actor, who walked in and out of a Los Angeles pharmacy on Sunday without a mask, was asked to leave after shoppers complained, writes Page Six.
The 65-year-old had a bandanna tied around his neck, but it was not pulled up over his face.
He has issued a statement saying his glipsie was a judgement error and urged mense to mask up in public to help stop Coronavirus from spreading.
He told People: “It was an error of judgement”, adding: “Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up."
His breach earned him a huge backlash on social media in the wake of the John Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Centre reporting that there’d been over two million Covid-19 cases in California, with 930 000 of those in LA County.
The county is the epicentre for the Coronavirus crisis in California, having surpassed 10 000 Covid-19 -related deaths.
Bruce spent much of the pandemic in quarantine with ex-wife Demi Moore and their children Scout, Rumer and Tallulah in Idaho. His wife, Emma Heming, later joined the family with their kids, Mabel and Evelyn.
