While most of us would have to save a whole year to buy the latest iPhone, the stinking rich Kardashian clan get a brand new one every week.
But the larney phones - which costs up to R30 000 - are not even good enough for the family as they don’t smaak the phone’s poor camera quality.
Anyway, why do mom Kris Jenner, sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as brother Rob Kardashian receive a new phone each week you ask?
Well, the reality TV stars are shooting their show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in lockdown.
According to executive producer Farnaz Farjam, a runner delivers a new iPhone to each cast member’s house, which they use to film content for the week before it is picked up and taken to the editors.
Farnaz says the crew wanted to shoot the whole season on phones after Kris made the suggestion, but changed their minds as fans would get gatvol of seeing swak quality footage.
The producer explained: “[Kris suggested], ‘What if we just shoot everything ourselves?’ But as we [saw it come in], I was like, ‘Oh, people are going to get sick of seeing this [poor quality] footage like this.’ We needed to get them proper interview spaces [for confessionals].”
Farnaz then hired a director of photography and a technician to set up tripods in Kim and Khloe’s respective homes.
But the real question is, what happens with the old phones when the new one comes along?
Do they sell it to the local Cash Crusaders winkel in Beverly Hills, do they donate it to struggling students, of hoe nou?
Quite frankly, hulle is seker min gespin.
