JENNIFER Aniston had a Bel-Air mansion literally gatecrashed this week.
The Friends star was at home when the dramatic incident happened on Monday afternoon, she had no contact with the home invader.
According to various news reports in Los Angeles, the 56-year-old was unharmed during the terrifying episode.
The drama started with a man smashed his way through the gates of the larney $21 million property just after noon local time.
Aniston’s security detail were quick to respond and in the end an oupa believed to be in 70s was arrested by the LAPD.
Reports claim the intruder drove into the compound, knocking down the solid black gate.
But the oupa got more than he bargained for.
The guards made klienskooltjies of the man and held him at gunpoint until the cops arrived to lock him up.
LAPD spokesperson Officer Jeff Lee said the incident occurred at approximately 12:20PM PT and that police were responding to a call about a “burglary suspect” at the residence who “ran his vehicle through the gate to the residence”.
A public information officer with the LAPD added: “A driver 'approximately 70 years of age, rammed his vehicle through the gate to the residence and gained access to the property.
“There was a security guard on premises who was able to detain that suspect until officers arrived, at which time they took him into custody without incident.
“The resident was home at the time.”
