While Rihanna is keeping her fans in the dark about releasing new music, she has revealed that she wants three to four children in the next 10 years.
The Work hitmaker appeared on the cover of British Vogue May issue as she spoke openly about plans to start a family on her own.
She says: “I feel like society makes me want to feel like ‘Oh you got it wrong ...’ They diminish you as a mother, [if] there’s not a dad in your kid’s lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
Earlier this year, the 32-year-old Barbados beauty split from her berk, billionaire Saudi Arabian businessman Hassan Jameel.
The pair dated for nearly three years.
Rihanna also spoke to Vogue about working ‘aggressively’ on her next studio album. She said: “I can’t say when I’m going to drop ... but I am very aggressively working on music.
“I don’t want all my albums to feel like themes. There are no rules, there’s no format, there’s nothing. There’s just good music and if I feel it, I’m putting it out.”
Fans have been left questioning the release of new material as it has been four years since Riri released her 2016 album Anti - which bagged two awards.
The star, however, plans on expanding her musical abilities by venturing into reggae, which is no surprise considering her Carribean roots.
She says: "Oh no, that is happening ... I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything - I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre - now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything I want.”
