TV SHOW: Jonathan TV SHOW: Jonathan
Now you too can be part of Jonathan Rubain’s brand-new TV show.
kykNET & kie’s first ever gospel show, Koortjies met Jonathan Rubain, kicks off in April and they are looking for a studio audience to participate in soulful discussions, praise and worship and of course, listen to beautiful music.
The pre-recordings will take place this month, and if you’d like to be in the audience, simply email [email protected] and the team will get in touch with you.
Koortjies met Jonathan Rubain will focus on the role of belief and music play in people’s lives, with discussions on spirituality and matters of the heart.
The jazz and gospel musician says he is still in shock after the opportunity arose last year.
“I always wanted to get the gospel spread on TV, I believe that’s where we as people of colour need to be,” he says.
Celebrity guests who are to appear on the show include Tracey Lange, JP Duminy, Zane Meas and Jarrad Ricketts.
The recording dates are as follows: 13-15 March, 20-22 March and 25-28 March, weekdays 7.30pm, Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 5pm.
Doors will open half an hour earlier to accommodate seating arrangements, which will be on a first come first serve basis.
Filming takes place at Atlantic Studios in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.
Audience members must be older than 18.
Koortjies met Jonathan Rubain hits the small screen on Sunday, 5 April at 6pm on DStv channel 145.
