All the single ladies, staan nader. M-Net has revealed that Marc Buckner is the second season’s The Bachelor South Africa.
The 36-year-old bachelor is said to be mature, witty, energetic, smart, adventurous and compassionate, as well as being a globe-trotting action man, property owner and currency trader and investor.
As if that’s not enough, Marc, originally from Durbs but now living in Cape Town, also started modelling since 16.
But he needs help in one area of his life: die ou soek ‘n vrou. So if you’re a single or divorced woman who wants to be a part of the show, visit the M-Net website and follow the instructions. Best be quick as entries close today, Wednesday, September 11 at midnight.
Marc is also an outdoorsy type; if he’s not exploring foreign destinations - often in the company of one of his favourite people in the world, his mom, or analysing economic trends to boost his bank account - he’ll be hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, skydiving or enjoying a “picnic with a view”.
His husband material CV includes cooking a meal with his potential wife and having meaningful conversations over a glass of wine near a crackling fireplace.

Marc says he has “no preconceived ideas” of his future wife, adding he’s eager to meet a “diverse group of powerful South African ladies who are as keen as I am to put their hearts on the line for love on a television show”.
