So What Now? TV show loading..... From next Wednesday at 8.30pm that's what we'll be talking about on my new TV show on @encanews (Channel 403). And I'd like your input please ..... We’ve been in lockdown for weeks so what is this “new normal”? What do you think is the most important thing we should be talking about as the world begins to unlock? And whose opinion would you most respect going forward? #SoWhatNow #future #whatsnext

This comes after the announcement from eMedia Investments that Devi Sankaree Govender landed her own show aptly titled Devi, airing Friday nights on both e.tv and  eNCA.

Using her trademark unique sense of humour and straight-talking approach, Devi will continue to fight the good fight while taking viewers into the lives of a range of extraordinary guests.

"The Covid-19 pandemic has created panic and negativity. This show isn't going to add to the gloom. Instead, my team and I are creating 30 minutes of in your face Friday night television.  You will be outraged.  You will laugh. You will be inspired while we keep it very real," said Devi.

Speaking about the two upcoming shows, eMedia Investments CEO, Khalik Sherrif said: "eMedia wants to ensure that it remains definitive with outstanding, entertaining, and informative programming.

"And the inclusion of personalities such as Gareth Cliff will ensure that difficult conversations will be had, no matter how provocative it seems at the outset. With Gareth and Devi joining us, we are moving towards the narrative of being more informative, more thought-provoking, and more challenging."

This comes after Cliff nabbed news headlines for his open letters regarding the national lockdown, including letters to President Cyril Ramaphosa and Cogta Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
