Season 14 of Idols South Africa is set to hit our TV screens this Sunday.
The quest to find the country’s next singing sensation is on so prepare yourself for drama, tears, triumphs, wooden mic moments and, of course, singing when the show airs on Mzansi Magic DStv channel 161 at 5pm weekly.
Season 14 promises some game changes so expect a few different routes this time round.
It wouldn’t be a great season without the infamous judges, like Unathi tearing up, the colourful Somizi “Whoo Shem” Somgaga with his extra personality, and acid-tongue Randall Abrahams.
Proverb remains the host and extends his consoling shoulder to those who don’t make the cut.
Whose talent will warm the hearts of Mzansi, whose vocals will fall short and who will wear Paxton Fielies’ crown?
