Local celebs are getting together once again to raise funds for a feeding scheme and soup kitchen that feeds 600 needy mense daily.
The feeding scheme is a project of AG Promotions, called Humanity is our Life, and is being run by Armeen Gallant, 45, from Maitland.
The Youth to Legends Celebration show has been on at the Baxter Theatre this week and this weekend will be your last chance to catch stars like saxophonists Donvino Prins and August West, singers Madeegha Anders, Nur Abrahams, Krista Jonas, Elvira Standili, Nuraan Boltman and Can Skylark.

“Our goal is to uplift the youth and care for the poor and needy. We cook and distribute food on a daily basis all over the Cape Flats and if requested to old age homes, schools, madrassas etc.” says Armeen.

The annual ninth Cape Town’s Most Wanted show is happening at the Artscape Theatre this weekend.
Produced by The Dance Project and Triple C, the CTMW provides a platform for the best of Cape Town’s Hip Hop dancers, choreographers and dance crews to show what they’re made of.
Production Manager Cleo Notcutt says: “It is a unique opportunity to experience live and raw, on one stage, in one performance, the unique styles with all genres showing their dynamic diversity, stunning creativity, mind-blowing technique and sheer swagger-ability.”
Dancers include the Untimitive Boys, XO Family, Gift of Dance’s Nobility and more.
The show runs from 27 to 29 June and tickets cost R100-R140 via Computicket.
