The day has finally arrived for the legendary Drifters one-night-only concert. If you’re a lover of the golden oldies era, you’ll appreciate this concert without a doubt.
The Drifters are touring South Africa for the first time, performing in Cape Town for one night only at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on Saturday.
The American band has had many hits in their heyday, most notably S tand By Me, There Goes My First Love and Kissin’ in the Back Row of the Movies.
The band’s doo-wop and R&B sound set the musical trend in the legendary ’50s and ’60s. The evergreen band has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame twice, due to members changing.
