The band members, hailing from Belhar and Elsies River, are between 19 and 23 years old.
And what sets this album apart from those of other bands, is that each member wrote a song.
The band says their fans can expect a variety of sounds, and Shaggy concurs.
“It’s actually a mixture of things. There is not a specific genre and if you want to classify it, it would be more of a world sound,” Shaggy explains.
SignatureSA has worked with a variety of artists, including Mi Casa, Loukmaan Adams, Don Vino, Salome and Robin Peters, and performed at a host of festivals.
Signature SA will be launching their new album at the Baxter Theatre on Sunday at 6pm.
Tickets cost R150 via webtickets.
The event features Robin Pieters, Claire Phillips, Salome and Don Vino.
