What could stop the forces of evil? Well, if you’re a fan of the Maleficent fliek series, then you’ll probably say “love”.
The complex relationship between Maleficent and Aurora continues, as they face new threats in the magical land of the Moors, in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
Maleficent travels to a grand old castle to celebrate her God-daughter Aurora’s upcoming wedding to Prince Phillip. While there, she meets Aurora’s future mother-in-law. She is a conniving queen who hatches a devious plot to destroy the land’s fairies. Hoping to stop her evil gedagtes, Maleficent joins forces with a seasoned warrior and a group of outcasts to battle the queen and her sterk army.
Angelina plays the complex character very well and owns her light and her darkness − which we all have a bit of. Surprisingly, she turns out to be just as vulnerable as young Aurora.
The fliek has a beautiful message of peace and co-existence as well as the enduring bond between family.
The cast includes Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sam Riley and Harris Dickinson.
