TEAM: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are co-parenting
Mariah Carey’s been on a romance rollercoaster. She recently nixed her five-month relationship with choreographer Bryan Tanaka.

Now the We Belong Together hitmaker is reportedly getting cosy with ex-hubby Nick Cannon.

Die tonge klap after the couple – who split in 2014 after a six-year marriage – were spotted getting cosy in public with their five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

A source told PEOPLE: “Mariah and Nick are getting along great. Nick spends most of his time with Mariah and the kids. Mariah is great with Nick around. There seems to be hope that they will get back together permanently. They are co-parenting.”

The former America’s Got Talent host raised eyebrows when he revealed he quite often sleeps over at the pop star’s house.

Asked if they were still having sex, Nick said: “There would be nothing wrong with that, but that’s not the case. I mean, she’s gorgeous but, you know, I’m respectful.”

The 36-year-old hunk insists he’s merely there to put their twins to bed and then, more often than not, goes home.

“We have a lot of love for each other. I do spend the night... in the kids’ room... I’m respectful ... (sometimes) I put the kids to bed and I go home.”

When asked about their relationship, Mariah told ET at her Butterfly MC Records launch event on Tuesday: “We’re together when it counts. We’re together for the kids, and I think that’s the most important thing.”

Another insider says they’re merely “co-parenting,” the other source’s claims make sense given that Mariah recently broke up with her background dancer boyfriend Bryan, whom she was dating for about a year after ending her engagement to Australian billionaire James Packer.
