Chris Tucker has hinted that the next Rush Hour could be filmed “in Africa”.
The Daily Voice caught up with the American comedian on the eve of his one-man show at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, on Wednesday night.
Tucker is best known for his character Smokey in the lagbol fliek, Friday, as well as for his role as Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series.
The 47-year-old star also revealed that there are talks of a reunion with Jackie Chan to film a Rush Hour 4.
“ In the first Rush Hour, I knew it was going to be special; Jackie would always make me look bad with his body appearing on sets looking all fly just sitting there crossing his legs before we start filming,” he recalls.
“Jackie just called me from Beijing and we’re actually thinking of doing another Rush Hour soon, hopefully, it will be done right here in Africa.”
Chris will be live at the Grand Arena on Wednesday night at 8.30pm.
Tickets are still available from Computicket starting from R460.
