Mandla and Lexi welcome a baby boy

Former Big Brother housemates, Lexi Van and her berk Mandla Hlatshwayo welcomed their first baby.
The couple’s baby boy was born on Friday, 12 April. However, the new mom posted a picture of only their baby’s hand on Instagram on Sunday.
Last week she explained her silence via Instagram.
She posted: “I know I’ve been so quiet, but that’s coz I just needed to physically and emotionally prepare myself for my biggest fear (birth!!! ) hence, the silence... I can’t believe I’m a mom, to be honest, it feels weird and I still have to pinch myself...Pregnancy and motherhood is extremely overwhelming, but I’m sure I’ll be fine. Mandla beat me to it, by posting, he’s sooooo inlove our little baby boy was born on Friday.” (sic)

She thanked mense for their wishes, messages and DMs, adding: “I appreciate the love.”
Lexi and Mandla fell in love during their stay in the Big Brother Mzansi house in season one where they fell in love.

The couple welcomed their first baby and proudly posted the picture of their baby’s hand, with the caption: “OMG.”
The post drew attention from nearly 6 000 people who congratulated the new parents.
