Ariana Grande is “absolutely heartbroken” after her ex- berk Mac Miller’s death.
The rapper, 26, was found dead in his San Fernando Valley, California, home on Friday, 7 September, from an apparent drug overdose.
A source says Ariana’s “entire family is in shock”.
The insider adds: “They all grew close to Mac during his relationship with Ari. He was a huge part of her life, and they always shared such a special bond. She wanted nothing but positivity in Mac’s life after they broke up.”
She paid tribute to Mac with a sweet black-and-white photo of him on Instagram. There’s no caption to the image of Mac sitting on the grass, gazing up at the camera.
The God Is a Woman songstress and Miller dated for almost two years before splitting in May.
Ariana announced their break-up in an emotional Instagram Story sharing her feelings.
She’s now engaged to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson and opened up about speculation she had cheated on Mac with him after an accuser trolled her Instagram comments in August.
Ariana clapped back, writing: “I didn’t but go off. can you like go stan someone else? ur boring.(sic)”
Other trolls accused her, saying Mac’s death is her “fault”.
She was previously blamed for his car crash while driving drunk after the break-up, but she hit back, calling the accusation “absurd”, adding that “someone should [not] stay in a toxic relationship” and that she was no-one’s “babysitter”.
