Former WP rugby star Juan de Jongh proudly showed off his newborn baby girl.
The infant was born on Wednesday and the first-time dad posted a picture of him holding baby Emily on Instagram with the caption: “And there she goes & jumps straight to the top.”
Juan, 30, and his fiancée, Simone Lourens, got engaged in September. The couple lives in England where Juan has been playing for the Wasps since 2017.

He added hashtags to his post, writing: “Emily, Daddy’s Girl, No medals and trophies comes close, my princess.”
The proud dad thanked everyone for the welcoming messages and their well wishes for the baby.
“Thank you everyone for welcoming my princess into the world, really appreciate all the love and messages.”
Juan, from Wellington, played for the Stormers, WP and the Springboks.
