The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to her art gallery director boyfriend.
On Tuesday, the Oscar-winner confirmed rumours she’s engaged to Cooke Maroney, with whom she’s been romantically linked since June 2018.
Speculation that the 28-year-old actress was engaged to the New York art dealer, 34, began when she was spotted wearing a “massive ring” while on a date night in New York at the weekend, Page Six reported.
A source told the outlet: “It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it.
“The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.”

The couple was reportedly introduced by Lawrence’s bestie Laura Simpson and have been dating for eight months.
While neither Jen or Cooke have spoken publicly about their relationship, insiders have gushed about their chemistry, with a source telling People in August: “She is smiling like I have never seen her do with any of her previous boyfriends.”
J-Law split from director Darren Aronofsky in November 2017.
She also dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.
Cooke works at New York’s Gladstone Gallery, which represents artists including Lena Dunham’s dad, Carroll Dunham, as well as Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor and Bjork’s ex, Matthew Barney.
He is reportedly known on the art party scene and previously worked at the prestigious Gagosian Gallery.
While he is now very much part of the New York social scene, Cooke, like Jen, grew up in the countryside, spending his childhood on his parent’s farm.
Maroney’s father was an art dealer in Manhattan and previously served as the Head of American Paintings at Christie’s before the family decided to move to the country.
