Fans are paying respect to US soul legend Aretha Franklin by laying flowers at her Hollywood Walk of Fame star in Los Angeles.
"She was the sound of the 60s for me as a child," said Gregg Donovan as he laid flowers at the site. "She was the queen of soul," he told local broadcaster ABC7 Eyewitness News.
Franklin - known for classics such as "Respect" and "I Say A Little Prayer" - died at 76 at her home in Detroit on Thursday.
