Actor Irshaad Ally and wife, Ayesha, welcomed their second baby and it’s another girl.
The heartthrob took the South African big screen by storm in flieks Four Corners and in the lead role in Nommer 37.
And he secured a slot as Rhafiek Samsodien in the popular soapie Suidooster.
But it is in his role as daddy - for a second time - that he shared his newborn baby girl on social media on Thursday.
In a photo Irshaad, was dressed in surgery attire clutching his baby minutes after she was born.
The infant was wrapped in a white towel and placed on Ayesha’s chest for the picture.
The smiling couple are overjoyed at the arrival of their baby, who doesn’t have a name yet.
Irshaad made his first TV appearance in Survivor South Africa: Malaysia in 2007, but was booted off as the eighth contestant to be eliminated. He started out as a runner at an advertising agency, followed by a stint as graphic designer at the same company.
After small roles in other short films and soapies, he landed his role in 2015 in Suidooster.
Irshaad, 40, a former Pasella presenter, and his teacher wife, Ayesha, have been married for seven years and have a daughter, Rahmah, five.
The couple was not available for comment, but congratulations streamed in on the Suidooster Facebook page.
