The emotional strain during her current Sweetener tour is taking its toll on Ariana Grande.
So much so that the pop star did, in fact, do just that: she broke down during a set at her concert in St. Louis on Saturday.
The star has explained her tearful breakdown to her loyal fans on social media, reports the Daily Mail.
She shared on Instagram that while being grateful for a tour she’d committed to, it remains “hard” to balance her personal and professional lives.
The singer, 26, wrote: “tour is wild. life is wild.
‘i feel everything very intensely and have committed to doing this tour during a time in my life when i’m still processing a lot ... so sometimes i cry a lot!”
She added: “i’m sharing this because i’m grateful and because i want you to know that if you too are hurting, you can push through and are not alone. (sic)”

A video of her breakdown on stage while singing R.E.M. was shared on YouTube.
Ariana looked emotional while singing the lyrics: “Before you speak, don’t move / ‘Cause I don’t wanna wake up.”

In June last year, a week after her engagement to Pete Davidson, she had tweeted the song is about “dreaming someone into your life (which actually happened way after we made the song which is so v strange)”.
But fans say she’s still grieving for her ex- berk Mac Miller, who died at 26 of a drug overdose in September.
While performing Raindrops ( An Angel Cried) in Miller’s hometown of Pittsburgh, Ariana got so choked up that she was unable to finish.
When it came to a line referencing Miller in her song thank u, next (Wish I could say Thank you to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel) she started to cry again.
But her fans had her back and sang the lyrics in her place.
