The Voice South Africa is back for a new season and boasts a brand-new host too.
The third season of M-Net’s singing talent show will be presented by bubbly and colourful TV personality Anele Mdoda.
Anele is hyped and ready to take on the role when the show’s Blind Auditions kick off later this month.
Anele presents The 947 Breakfast Club show in Gauteng and graces our TV screens daily with her talk show, Real Talk with Anele.
“Sho, I still can’t believe I’m going to be the host of such a massive M-Net production,” says Anele.
“Since 1992, when my parents bought our first decoder, I’ve been dreaming of seeing myself on my favourite television channel,
“Best of all, talent shows, especially those that give South Africans a time to shine, are my thing,”
She adds: “I love, love, love The Voice. There is a very special camaraderie among the coaches, host and talent.
“Everyone does their best to make everyone else look and feel good.”
M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard adds that Anele is “spunky and fun...she does it one way, and that’s the Anele Mdoda way”.
In other changes, Season 3, The Blind Auditions, Battles and Knockout rounds will be recorded at Urban Brew Studios in Randburg.
The Season 3 coaches will be announced next week.
The Voice SA will be screened on M-Net from February 2019.
