The fan walk was abuzz with soccer supporters in yellow and black striped jerseys as they made their way to Cape Town Stadium in Green Point to watch PSL newcomers Cape Town City FC play Kaizer Chiefs in an MTN 8 clash.

Soccer fever ran high with vuvuzelas awakening the Mother City.

One supporter, who had a replica trophy of the competition brought the area to a standstill as nuuskierige mense wondered if it was the real thing.

Against all odds, Cape Town City beat Chiefs 1-0, sending the newcomers through to the semifinals of the competition.
