The second leg of the Hunter’s Summer Tour gooi’d a turn by the Las Vegas Lounge in Mitchells Plain on Saturday night.
Mense were so excited to see their favourite rappers, Biggy and Early B, in action that they didn’t mind waiting till midnight for them to arrive.
The Hunter’s Summer Tour kicked off at Bob’s District 6, before moving to Las Vegas Lounge and then on to Metronome in Brackenfell, before ending their mal night off at Cellars on Main in Paarl.
Biggy is famous for his hit song, Dames, while Early B is the gift that keeps on giving with his debut album, Aangename Kennis.
Early had the ladies screaming when he performed Ben 10 and Lekker Djy, and Biggy performed the songs that put him on the charge, Dames and Zeke Zeke.
Organiser Andy Heynes, who hosted the rappers, says the tour was a huge success.
“This was a first for Biggy and Early B to be performing together in Cape Town,” he says.
“The crowds were all pleased wherever we went and the show went smoothly.”
Early B says this is just the start of his festive season in die Kaap.
“Die is my mense, I feel at home here, the reception is always lekker when I perform in Cape Town,” the PE resident says.
We also managed to find out why Early B loves the Mother City so much, it turns out brother man has a goose here, so sorry ladies, haaties vir ons.
