Mense were dressed to impress for one moerse party at Rands Cape Town for the launch of the Eyandini Village on Saturday.
Not even the stormy weather could keep people from showing up and showing off at the bash.
Organisers say about 1 500 partygoers arrived at the popular Khayelitsha venue to see big names such as AKA, Pearl Thusi, Babes Wodumo, Tipcee, DJ Zinhle, DJ 8hours, andChynaman live oppie groot verhoog.
The crowd went bos when the lovely Pearl came on, and there were roars from cheering fans hoping to touch her hand while she entertained mense before introducing her bestie DJ Zinhle.
DJ Zinhle who co-parents a baby girl with AKA, brought the house down when she kicked off her house and RnB infused set.
But overall it was Pearl who owned the night, looking effortlessly chic in her black crop top and yellow wide leg bottom pants.
Lauren Allies and her friends came out to see AKA.
“We don’t care if it’s raining kliphard and we get wet, we want to see AKA perform and we won’t leave without our dose of the lekker Keenan Forbes,” they joked.
And what would a tribute to Rands be without their famous braaivleis. A chop en dop mos always go down lekker together.
