The Oaklands High School hall was draped in royal colours for the launch of the Forever Young Exporium on Friday night.
The store, which boasts over 100 designers, will open at Castor Road, Lansdowne on Saturday.
Owner, Aqeela Majiet, 23, from Ottery, says she is excited about her dream store.
She says she and her team put in a lot of hard work in the past month to make their launch a success.
“It was extremely exhausting and stressful as our models and designers pushed really hard to make the show a success in a short time,” she says.
“I am happy to announce we will be opening on [Saturday] as the public now has an image on what has been showcased, and moving forward we hope to achieve more in the future.”
Fifty models took to the ramp showing off the latest and trendiest garments.
Included were fashion for kids and everyone cheered as the little ones came on stage to strut their stuff.
Aqeela started out as a modelling agent when she was just 18, with her company Forever Young Models, but says she now feels the need change things up a little.
“I used to host modelling shows, but now I want to expand into clothing,” she explains.
Singer Ashur Pietersen performed some new, original tunes, which he promised to share with the Daily Voice readers soon.
Idols SA 2017 winner Paxton Fielies, as well as The Voice 2017 winner Craig Lucas also performed, while Ashur’s sister Jawahier Petersen kept the crowd entertained as the MC.
