The Cape Spy was out in Retreat on Friday night for Jazz on the Vlei held at The Jolly Carp.
This event, which was first held in 2012, has become known for showcasing local jazz talent.
Thank goodness organisers decided to take the event indoors this weekend, what with that crazy southeaster shutting down another popular festive, the Voice of the Cape Radio’s annual Summer Festival, at Vygieskraal Stadium.
