Saturday sees the return of the seventh Miss Drag Ambassador pageant at Kensington Civic Centre.

Logan McGregor, who hails from Kensington, started this project as a means to plough back into her community.

The multi-beauty pageant title holder is a former Miss Mardi Gras National, former Miss Gay Western Cape and current Miss Diva South Africa.

Logan says: “Our vision is to create a platform for drag and female impersonation to be recognised on a grand scale.”

Last year’s queen, Laylah Zokufa Khan, will hand over her crown.

Entertainment includes the sensational Manila von Teez, Angel Lalamore, Vida Fantabisher and DJ Extraordinaire, Jerome Davidson (DJ Cool J).

The theme for this year is Cowboys and Indians and patrons are invited to dress accordingly.

Tickets cost R80-R100.
