ELKE festive far too often seems to be the battle between shape vs suip.

But it looks like British music star Ed Sheeran, 34, has figured it out - landing himself on the cover to Men’s Health UK

Sheeran, who has become renowned for hitting the charts with one hit song after the other, has now been hitting the gym.

Indeed, Sheeran has ditched the trademark baggy T-shirt to reveal a remarkably tight six-pack, an impressively chiselled chest and a perfectly sculpted pair of tattooed biceps after stripping down to his waist for the latest edition of Men's Health UK.

Sheeran has toned up to great effect after chowing fast-food and embracing fitness following the birth of daughters Lyra and Jupiter, his two kinders with wife Cherry Seaborn.

But despite his disciplined new look, the result of regular gym sessions, reformer pilates and a fat-free diet, Sheeran admits at heart he will always be who he was before revolutionising his leefstyl.

He said: 'Something I never thought I'd do, but here we are. 10 years ago I was a beer-guzzling, kebab-munching smoker.

“Having kids really made me knock all those bad habits on the head (excuse the pun), and I got heavily into exercise and moderation.

“I started off this year doing dry jan, and just carried on being sober and exercising.

“I did a lot of reformer pilates and got in the best shape of my life. I kept joking that I was gonna do a Men’s Health cover, then one day was just like ‘why not’.”

'I’d never run more than a kilometre and did my first 10K during Covid – stuff like that, building up to that, it just makes you feel better.”
