While rumours have been circling about their financial difficulties in recent weeks, it seems like the big guys at the Western Province Rugby Union are not holding back at all trying to strengthen the Stormers for next season’s Super Rugby.
After already signing New Zealand skills coach Paul Feeney, the union is now also linked with a move for former Springbok scrum guru Pieter de Villiers.
But with the ins come the outs during a transfer season and heading for the exit door at the Stormers is winger Kobus van Wyk.
Van Wyk was among a whole host of new signings announced by the Sharks yesterday, with former France fullback Clement Poitrenaud also joining the Durban-based side.
When contacted by the Daily Voice yesterday, Western Province failed to either confirm or deny the moves.
