Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hailed his 10 men for holding on for a 3-2 win over Swansea as they went joint-top of the Premier League.
The Gunners twice wasted two-goal leads as a Theo Walcott double and a brilliant Mesut Ozil volley were cancelled out by Gylfi Sigurdsson and Borja Baston.
Arsenal then had to tough it out after Granit Xhaka received a straight red card — his eighth in two seasons — for bringing down Modou Barrow with a lunge from behind.
Wenger says: “I have some mixed feelings because it looked at some points comfortable and then it never was.
“We could never capitalise on the two-goal cushion but at least we got the three points.”
