Two Bonteheuwel residents were shot and injured in two separate incidents after getting caught in gang crossfire on Sunday.
One man was rushed to hospital while a woman says she was grazed by a bullet.
The 46-year-old woman was walking home from church on Sunday night just before 9pm when skollies started shooting in Jakkalsvlei Road.
Luckily the bullet only grazed the woman’s hip and no medical attention was needed.
About 20 minutes later in Yellowwood Street, a 48-year-old man was shot and wounded while walking.
Police say the man who sustained serious injuries is now recovering in Groote Schuur Hospital. His family did not want to comment yesterday.
