DJ Arch Jnr is going to have to work harder if he’s going to get his name into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The four-year-old has been spinning decks hoping to become the world’s youngest club DJ.
He only has to play for an hour but up until now hasn’t made music long enough in a club to be crowned with the Guinness title.
His dad Glen Hlongwane tells Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral: “My idea was, because he was one of the resident DJs for McDonald’s, that for the finals (of the DJ competition) we would get a stage and when the tournament was done he would attempt the record in front of everyone. He did that. He played for an hour and five minutes.”
He adds: “We submitted to Guinness and Guinness got back to us saying that it was good but that they actually wanted him in a club because the record is for youngest club DJ. So, do you see our challenge?”
