WINGER: Thabo Mosadi is in form

Not too long ago, coach Stanley Menzo’s team had dropped into the relegation zone, after struggling to win games since the turn of the year.

But wins in their last two games has seen them move clear of the drop zone and into the top half of the table.

And the in-form Mosadi says they will not take relegation candidates Bloem Celtic for granted when they meet at Athlone Stadium tomorrow (8.15pm).

Looking for a third win in a row, he says: “We’re motivated by the back-to-back wins over Platinum Stars and Chippa.

“It’s great to be in the top 8 again, it’s where we should be and our goal is to play in the top 8 [Telkom Knockout] next season.

“But we know Celtic will come here fighting against relegation and it will be a tough game.”

Menzo has been careful not to overuse Mosadi due to a shortage of right wingers in his squad.

The 26-year-old, though, has been effective when deployed, scoring three goals and setting up six for his teammates.

He adds: “I’ve found my form now that that I play more often. I've been assisting and scoring recently and I’m grateful to the coach.”
