PAUL Pogba is ready to return to Manchester United if they make him the first £100m footballer.
According to reports in the UK, France midfield sensation Pogba has told his agent Mino Raiola that he wants to join the Red Devils, the club he left in 2012 after a fallout with then-boss Alex Ferguson.
United CEO Ed Woodward has been working on the deal for the powerful 23-year-old and he and Raiola have already agreed to personal terms for the player - a reported moerse £250 000-a-week wage.
But Woodward will have to match Juventus’ asking price for their asset and they Italian want a world record £100m.
United opened talks with an £85m with the extra £15m for performance-based incentives.
But the Old Lady is not budging on her demands. The Bianconeri want a volle £100m plus add-ons for Pogba.
However, knowing that the player is keen on the move, United now feel that they have the upperhand in the negotiations.
