ON TARGET: Spurs ace Harry Kane

With Chelsea crowned Premier League champions on Friday, Spurs were desperate to end their season on a high in front of their home fans for the last time.

And they started like a house on fire, opening the scoring after just six minutes.

Victor Wanyama headed home a Ben Davies cross as Spurs set the tone for the match with the home fans singing at full voice.

But they were made to wait until have the break for the next goal.

Three minutes into the second half, Harry Kane ended an even longer wait as he scored his first ever goal against Man United.

Kane snuck in ahead of Chris Smalling to direct a pacy cross from Christian Eriksen past David de Gea in the Red Devils goal.

Wayne Rooney popped up with United's goal when he tapped home Anthony Martial's centre to ensure a nervous finish with 19 minutes to go.

But Spurs kept going and gave their fans a great send off before they return to north London for the 2018-19 season.
