Springbok coach Allister Coetzee will be sweating on the fitness of Stormers flanker Siya Kolisi.
The blindsider suffered an ankle injury early in Stormers’ 61-20 Super Rugby quarterfinal defeat to the Chiefs at Newlands last weekend and went to see a specialist on Monday.
While the extent of the injury is not yet known, Kolisi will be in a race against time to be fit for the Rugby Championship that starts next month.
Coach Toetie started the powerhouse for all of the Bokke’s matches in their 2-1 series win over Ireland last month.
South Africa will kick off their campaign against Argentina at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on August 20.
