Hamilton trails Ferrari rival Sebastian Vettel by 13 points after four races.

And after missing out on the title last year to his now-retired teammate Nico Rosberg, the three-time world champ has to contend with new pal Valterri Bottas racing to victory in Russia in the last round.

Now Hamilton hopes he can get his mojo back when the main race starts on Sunday (1pm).

The 32-year-old says: “I am not sure why I was unable to challenge [in Russia].

“I just didn’t have the car to do it, but I know the guys at the factory have been working 24/7 since then to try and overcome any potential future issues.

“I would like to get back to normal this weekend.”
