France warn Bokke

UPBEAT: France boss Guy Noves

The Boks can’t rest on their laurels after beating a weakened France 37-14 last weekend.

Coach Guy Noves will haul out the big guns for the second Test in Durban this Saturday (5pm).

A bunch of players were rested for the Loftus encounter because of their involvement in the French Top 14 final the week before.

That won’t be the case at King’s Park where stars such as SA-born fullback Scott Spedding, captain Guilhein Guirado, prop Xavier Chiocci, lock Arthur Iturria, flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc, centre Damian Penaud and lock Romain Taofifenua will all return for the clash.

Spedding, in particular, will look to add some insider info into life in Durban, having played for the Sharks before moving to France in 2008.

After losing the first Test, Noves said: “We were dominated physically as individuals and as a collective.

“We failed to adapt to the athleticism of the Springboks and that made it difficult for us to play our type of rugby because of this.”
