The Stormers want the Bulls to “bring it” at Loftus tomorrow 3.05pm
It hasn’t been the best of seasons for the Pretoria outfit under coach Nollis Marais, who will be in charge of his final match of the Super Rugby team before handing over the reins to Kiwi John Mitchell.
And after losing to the Kings last weekend, Fleck wants the Bulls to properly test his team before they face either the Chiefs or the Hurricanes in the competition’s quarterfinal next week.
After his pack of forwards didn’t get a decent test against the Sunwolves last weekend, Fleck says: “Hopefully this weekend – especially with how the Bulls play – we can see how our forwards go.
“We want the best Bulls team out there, we want a serious confrontation.
“We’re asking for it and we’ll be disappointed if we don’t get it. We’ll certainly be up for it.”
He adds: “It’s the Bulls’ last game, they have a lot to play for. There’s probably a lot of emotion in it.
“They want to prove something to their fans, it was the first game of the season that derailed their campaign when we played [and beat them 37-24 at Newlands].”
